Family sharing

In our family we have tried to teach the girls to share. Sometimes it's a really good thing to experience. This week not so much.

You see our youngest has graciously shared her cold/cough with the rest of us. It was a nice thought. But here's the thing: Colds suck. They suck big fat hairy rocks.

Marie sounds like she is gargling gravel, Cailyn sounds like she is coughing up a lung in the morning and evening right before bed. I feel like my head is in a cloud, my ears are stuffed, and my throat is dry and scratchy.

And another thing? Why do people call them "colds"? Sometimes I feel chilly and sometimes I really warm. I think people should call them "Crappy". That's how we all feel.

People keep talking about how nice or mild this winter has been. I do not agree. The snow and cold freezes/kills off all the nasty things that get us sick. When it is warm, then wet, the a little cold, then warm, etc, the buggies thrive and come get us.

We appreciate the thought, Erin, but everything is not for sharing.....
